Brighter, bolder, better: Ariana Grande’s ‘eternal sunshine’ deluxe is everything we needed and more

It’s finally here, and WOW - eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead is everything we needed and more.

Ariana Grande just blessed us with six new tracks and a short film that somehow made this already iconic album even better.

I loved eternal sunshine when it first dropped, but this deluxe version? Absolutely next-level.

The new tracks

The extra songs are everything. Ariana takes us on a journey that’s equal parts raw, emotional, and straight-up gorgeous.

‘twilight zone’ and ‘past life’ hit HARD - like, you can really feel the reflection on a past relationship with, well…he who shall not be named (Dalton Gomez).

She’s spilling all the tea, but in that elegant, Ariana way.

Then we get the flipside with ‘warm’ and ‘dandelion,’ both soft, sweet, and filled with love. And that trumpet at the start of ‘dandelion’? Don’t even get me started.

Also, “hampstead” deserves its own moment. Ariana straight-up addresses all the media rumours, and the confidence in her voice? Iconic.

It’s like ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love)’, only more blunt, less bothered - and I love that for her.

Speaking of iconic…how could I forget one of the best parts of this deluxe?! Everyone’s favourite track, ‘intro (end of the world),’ got extended - and it’s EVERYTHING.

The original already had us in a chokehold, but now? Choking on tears with every listen.

The sound

Let me just say - Ariana’s vocals have NEVER sounded better.

These new songs blend dreamy R&B with throwback ‘90s diva vibes, and the production (thank you Max Martin!) is flawless.

Every high note, every harmony, and every little vocal run just hits different.

The short film: Art.

Can we also talk about the brighter days ahead short film?! Ariana co-directed it, and it’s the perfect visual companion to the album.

The way it continues the story from ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” but takes it deeper? Genius.

We see older Peaches revisiting her memories, performing songs like ‘dandelion’ and ‘eternal sunshine,’ and reflecting on her life.

It’s emotional, beautiful, and so Ariana. I cried. I smiled. I wanted to hug my past and future self.

Final thoughts

This deluxe album isn’t just a bonus - it’s a whole new chapter. Ariana Grande gave us vulnerability, artistry, and a whole lot of heart.

I loved eternal sunshine when it first dropped, but brighter days ahead takes it to another level.

If you haven’t listened yet, do yourself a favour and dive in. And watch the short film too - you’ll thank me later.
